This was a highly entertaining reminiscence of your trip to LA, but I found it a trifle lacking in the actual comedy department. Perhaps you could have done more with the interviews you had at the signing, build out the characters a little more.

That said, I still very much enjoyed going along with you, as it were, to an event I couldn’t attend in real life. It made me smile. And, okay, I’m already a Russell Brand fan - other Starlings fans, go and find him if you don’t already know!

Looking forward to the next one…

I liked this greatly. I knew of Russell Brand a little from Forgetting Sarah Marshall. I had no idea he had many fans here. You both did an excellent job of off-the-cuff comedy and interviews. I felt like I was in the back seat in aw. I do worship you both a bit. JT

I love this!!! Of course, I’d heard this story about 5,000 times from Deniz online, but to hear the excitement in person was great! I am a Russell Brand lunatic as well, and my heart just heartgasmed when you were relating meeting him, like, ahhh! That said, I did wish there’d been more time in the ‘cast for hearing from others, what fun! Great stuff lovelies! xxx

Oh, the memories! That was the most fantastic weekend ever. Listening to this brought back all the excitement. Love you both. I’m glad my Mick story made it into the podcast even though I refused to be interviewed. :) Sorry for being so lame; I just felt way too self conscious!

My only criticism of the podcast is a technical one — it sounded like the audio kept cutting in odd places. Unless my sound was just glitchy (which is possible), it seemed like the editing could’ve been smoother. But even so, great job and thanks for letting me relive that experience.

That was fun girls shame you didnt get any of Russ actually talking that would have really made it even more special … Did you not record when you were all sitting around having lunch together as in a pic you posted somewhere at the time…???

Thank you for sharing … it reminded me of my one & only meeting with Russ… See it here its the first one taken by Lisa… http://www.youtube.com/russfan101

We’ve discussed your wonderful day before, and I’ve mailed you my thoughts on this podcast - so here I’ll just say well done ladies! You recreated the experience beautifully - right down to the familiar listening to Morrissey whilst checking your watch and realising the Swine is late - again!! We’ve all been there!

Just one thing would have made it better - Star: why didn’t you agree to be interviewed??

The new French and Saunders! xx
